Owner, Daniel Mavin, is passionate about Mogs and embodies the essence of the Unimog itself. “Getting through where others give up”, “Freedom to negotiate any terrain and tackle any task”, “Versatility beyond compare”; …there is no doubt, UNIDAN and the Unimog are in a league of their own!
With over 21 years of hands-on experience in the Motor Fabrication Industry, as a Workshop Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Fitter & Turner/Welder, Daniel is well respected in the Unimog community in Australia & often looked to for advice. He was originally taught by some of the most experienced people in the motor sport industry & has spent many years building & driving 4WD’s, camper trailers & motor homes & taking his Mogs to places and terrains that four wheels are not supposed to be able to go. With a wealth of experience travelling off-road all over Australia, Daniel has a lot of insight into what makes for a comfortable & reliable vehicle & in turn, an enjoyable trip.
After years of being a part of the 4WD and Unimog world, Daniel now lives his passion through UNIDAN, by repairing, customizing and building some of the world’s most impressive and remarkable machines, specifically catering to 4WD vehicles & in particular, the Unimog.
With a team of highly experienced tradesmen in their field and an accounts department to look after the mundane side of the business, UNIDAN is well set up to cater for their clients’ needs.
